We have to deal with a lot of pressure being a referee and this is another aspect of it.
Evaluate the situation, what is the coach yelling and think about why, be aware of his language. Swearing should not be tolerated and abuse of officials is not okay. Is he directing it at you, your partners, your calls or his players?
You have options you can warn the coach that if he doesn't stop yelling you will asses him a bench minor, if he persists you can give the bench minor penalty, if it continues further or escalates you can give a game misconduct or a gross misconduct.
It is important to be familiar with each of these penalties and when they should be assessed and the consequences of them.
Usually when we warn the coaches they are able to calm down, encourage them to talk to you through their Captains and Assistants if they need to know something.

How exactly do we give the coach a GaMi or GroM? Do we just ask him to leave the arena? Do we put a player in the penalty box?

You would take the linesman with you and ask the coach to leave, you can tell him he has been given a game misconduct or a gross misconduct. He needs to leave immediately to the dressingroom, according to the rule book as long as he is away from the bench and not directing his players or bother the officials he doesn't need to stay there.
